Tile an image across multiple pages - OSx

Some simple instructions to create a large image printed across multiple pages.

  1. Prepare the image you want to print & make a note of its dimensions
  2. In illustrator set the document size, to the size of your image
  3. Select print
  4. Under "Setup" select tiling->Tile Imageable Areas
  5. Adjust where your image fits accross all the pages
  6. Print!

I'd love an open source version of doing this, so please send any suggestions this way.
